Second "Big Concert" of the 2003 season

The children's choir prepares for sound check.	This is the first time the ACQ has performed in such a large sanctuary, thereby requiring a sound system for the first time.	Pastor Joe Wright welcomes the almost 1500 people.

Pastor David Mullins introduces the group.

	Once again the Friends University Percussion Ensemble joins the ACQ.

		Michael shows volunteer-from-the-audience Chelsey Herzet how to play the Christmas Tin Machine ...

... and she really gets into it.		Michael holds an impromptu trivia contest to give away ACQ T-shirts.

The Jade String Quartet joins the ACQ.	The Jade String Quartet (clockwise from the back) Rob Loren (violin), Dawn Coura (viola), Amy Loren (Rob's daughter, cello), Janel Sisson (violin).

...gettin' silly...		demonstrating what Jack A. Lope's voice sounds like with small hand held "voice digitizers" (just kiddin').

When the Wichita Community Children's Choir joins the group, it's just like a band of angels.	The choir is directed by Marilyn Killian.	One of the selections they sing with the group, "Blessed Be," is an original composition by Michael and Jeanne Anne written specifically for this performance.

		The "sing along" at the close of each performance was greatly enhanced this evening with the choir's help.
